Started in 2010 and headquartered in the Washington, DC area, HAFree has member chapters as well as member individuals providing the public with resources as well as educating the public on how to promote rational thought in all communities.
Although these groups and individuals are independent and responsible for their own activities, it is expected that all HAFree members will confront pseudo-science, un-natural and paranormal claims, superstition, and the similar by exploring naturalistic, evidence-based, approaches to knowledge.
In doing so, many activities are expected to be done by HAFree and/or its members including video shows, podcasts, peaceful protests, street signs, articles, conferences, community activities, radio interviews, and similar.
HAFree highlights the struggle to keep faith-based and un-natural beliefs from influencing our public institutions and our private lives, but HAFree does not promote nor does it tolerate the breaking of local, state, or federal laws.
HAFree’s core values are a commitment to the Hispanic community to:
- Teach the use of science, critical thought, logic, and reason to evaluate truth.
- Bring forth moral principles based on the natural and evidence based human experience as well as Humanistic ideals.
- Educate young Hispanics how to think, not what to think.
Hispanic American Freethinkers, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable educational organization.
